2000 MZ Skorp Replica

Postby cool92092 » Thu Mar 24, 2011 10:26 pm

2000 MZ Skorpion with about 30K miles on it. I just picked up a new Yam FZ6 so I need the space. Bike starts but its a fixer upper. It'll need a carb clean out - idles on choke but sputters out when you roll the throttle. Battery is kinda dead. I rode it about 3 weeks ago and it was working fine but now I cant get it going. Farings are off but I have them. Looking for around 1K (hopefull, lol) to recover the work I did on it last year - new hoses, iridium plug, put on a new tail light with intergrated blinkers, new brake pads. If you do a search on my username you'll see some pics of it. I got it up and running last year, put it down for the winter, and it's been calling to get serviced again or parted. Call me if you have any questions

Here's my last post, sorry but I dont have any newer pics.

Thanks for the edit Dave!

Here's some more pics. The question came up is this a replica or not. I'm not sure, let the pro's decide. When I first got the bike I thought it was and just kept thinking like that but after a few phone conversations I'm led to believe it may not be. Who knows?

Replica had dual exhaust and I believe Marchesini(sp) wheels.

That is not a Replica. Replica had dual exhaust, Marchesini wheels and WP inverted forks. Nice enough bike but not a Replica.
