Breaking '98 Mastiff (yorkshire)
Posted: Fri Feb 08, 2008 2:24 pmDue to a melted loom I'm breaking my 1998 Mastiff in the UK. I recently fitted a 12000 mile Yamaha XTZ motor (with mechanical tacho drive). As a guide to condition the bike was in 'well used' condition but none of the fasteners have been seized except for the exhaust studs on the original £95 engine. The Yamaha engine was in very good condition and had only been in the bike for one month. The following are available:
12000 mile XTZ660 motor with flywheel and pickups - £425
45000 mile bare XTZ motor - this is the original motor and has a gearbox fault where it falls out of 2nd and 4th gears - £95
seat (red) - £30
tank - burgandy colour - £35
black LH and RH side panels - £5 each
speedo showing about 28000 miles - £20
tacho - £20
rear monoshock - £25
swingarm - £20
front calliper - £15
rear calliper (missing anti rattle spring)- £10
frame with V5 (S reg) - £75
starter motor - £40
