1999 Sport Cup for sale

99 Sport Cup, green, with full fairing, rear seat cowl and pillion seat, tool kit, and orig. owner's manual. Has 3,873 miles (6,455 km). Not even broken in yet! Galen from Bikeworx put in the carb jet kit and M4 exhaust. Also has a diode tail light. Bike is in Bridgewater, MA. $2,250 in cash. Title in hand.

Beautiful bike! sending a link to a friend, he had a scorpion, regrets selling it, maybe he would like another?

Thanks for the compliment. It's a great bike, but I had shoulder surgery (and I'm getting on in years) so the sport cup riding crouch isn't tenable for anything but short rides. I'm going to rely on standard style bikes so I can keep riding.

What size engine does this bike have? I'm just curious......is it a an MZ engine or Yamaha?

The Sport Cup has a 660cc single, designed and built in Italy, at a Yamaha factory. Unlike the old singles that the Brits are famous for, this is a short stroke high rpm single. Five valves, water cooled, dry sump. Yamaha now uses the engine in their Raptor series of ATVs, amongst other things.

Bike sold some time to a BMW guy, that wanted to try something different.
