Have you still got it? I came in here tonight to ask if it was possible to get a connector, without buying the can as well, and when I checked new posts I found this one.
I wonder what it would cost to ship to South Africa.

Yes, I know how to ship to SA.....because I have done it before.
Registered Insured Airmail to SA is ~38 usd and there is no risk
of the package being stolen or lost. You have to sign for it.
