$1650 is a good price and as you have a parts bike your in shape
http://www.rotax.net for engine parts if parts bike one is bad
should run fine for many years
recommend front brake lever as a spare as some of the mz are the only bike that uses this lever

It looks like i'm going to be driving 675 miles to pick it up this weekend.....from southern Missouri to Minneapolis MN....a bit of a drive but i got a couple of shipping quotes and they were in the 500.00 range so i can save 200 or so if i drive....I think also that the engine on my crashed bike will still be good, it just needs the outer casing piece on the stator or generator side...(the metal housing that goes around the stator with the magnets on it that spins with the engine may be ever so slightly dented also but hopefully it's not too out of round and would still work) the new bike is actually at some kind of scooter repair shop and the guy says it's missing the chain cover ....should be able to use my old one though but may need to order the plastic piece that covers the sprocket at the engine if it's not on there as mine is cracked. he said it's missing a few other things too like the windshield but i have this too......will try to get some pix of the bike from the guy before i go up there just to make sure it's decent..... hopefully it will work out well, will keep you guys posted....

When i googled and found the listing on Craigslist that i posted for you this also came up and i saw an email address so i emailed him and he sent these pictures to me today,he said he is thinking about selling them as gas prices are out of control .He has a comcast email so i think it somewhere up in the northeast i can't make out the plates,He seems kind of secretive, has not said a price.

Ah google, didn't think of trying that for some reason......yeah the northeast would probably be out of my range and I doubt he'd be selling for as low as this other guy in MN...just hope his is in decent shape....need to get some pix from him....thanx again
