Still looking, I've been offered a scruffy one for £900 but would go to £1600 - £1700 for the right one. Let me know if you have one or know of one that's reasonable.
Thanks
Tony

If the price is right a cat d wouldn't put me off. It just meant the insurers decided it was uneconomical to repair. A bike a few year old falls over, scratches exhaust, tank and sidepanel ... insurer says OK new exhaust £600, Tank £500 sidepanel £100 labour £200. Value of bike before accident £2000.... bingo we have a cat D! Someone buys the bike from the insurer, second hand exhaust, bit of paint on the tank, t-cut the sidepanel and the bike is as good as it was before the accident.

Have had Cat C and D over the years and they're a complete waste of time unless you intend to never sell and just run into the ground.
You can't part exchange them as you can't finance them.

Nice one Tony.

I test rode it when the B-i-L was looking at it, and it went very well indeed. It's far quicker off the mark than my Skorpion.
