Timing is everything

So word has it MZ Germany will close in Dec.2008. All round the world those pesky little 49cc scooters are being flogged
"never been on two wheels" dolts. All in the name of petrol prices. When alternative like the smaller MZ go to waste.
MZ was and is a producer of very good small to mid range proper motorcycles. Does it seem a very short sighted decision to quit when you have the product, the factory ( no promotion or marketing mind you) at a time when billions could be reaped worldwide promoting MZ without having to retool one bit.
If only someone like Bloor would step up and keep this mark in the hunt.
I just found a fabulous FX/SX125 here in Daytona. Along with my R1150R and Triumph 500 I have a perfect combo.
This 125 is a very fine machine on par with anything from the east.
I suppose it's just wait and see.
