Red Star Rally 08, Brief Report

Postby Lamaha » Mon Sep 01, 2008 3:49 pm

Wow what a weekend,
The venue, Market Harborough Rugby Club.
The Bikes, mostly East European and then some.

The turn out was much better than expected with 203 bikes, maybe down to the great weather, with riders coming in from far and wide, Cornwall, Scotland and even a contingent from Holland.
The bikes were the stars though and ranged from Urals, Jawa, CZ, Dnepr and many others i had never heard of like the Eunoch 750(unfortunate name for a big twin from Russia).
Obviously a good showing from our own favourite marque, TS 125 and 250s, ES 250s, Saxons, Supa 5, the list goes on.
There was an 80 bike ride out, a raffle and plenty to eat and drink while discussing bikes and taking in the the atmos'.

I rode the TS 250 from Worthing up to Market Harborough and she didn't miss a beat, even in the heavy rain on the way home (170 miles each way).
She really looked after me.

Any way heres some pics, the first one is my Black TS next to a smart TS 125 that went on the ride out with a pillion as well.
Having a problem uploading the pictures hope they make sense,
