New 1995 MuZ Saxon Tour Owner

Postby Mike Underwood » Sun Sep 12, 2010 11:04 am

Hello everyone. I've just aquired a Saxon Tour from my brother with 1134 miles on the tach. He said that the last time the oil was changed, too much oil was added and that it now is leaking out from behind an engine case cover. I haven't attempted to sort this our yet as my primary bike, a 1998 Suzuki Bandit 1200S also needs some attention. My brother also said he tried to get a service maual but didn't have any luck. I would appreciate a .pdf or a link to where I can find one. The real question is did I get myself into something that I'm going to spend more time/money trying to keep on the road than what it's worth. The forums have already given me some good information and I appreciate a good motorcycle forum.

Mike

Hi Mike, Your story sounds like mine, I got the same bike, without knowing a thing about the Mark or origin. (This bikes are unknown in Mexico) I contacted Gunter Six and he sent me the whole repair manual which helped me a lot in fixin the problem I had, with the electric starter gear (see my post). now is running great, Iam satisfied.
By the way, I allready cleaned the crankcase screen and the magnetic plug but didnt find traces of metal particles. The oil filter needs change.
Try this for the manuals.

I know you're in the US Mike, but where? I can send the service manual if you provide an email address. -Don
