MZ in MT

Postby MattyP » Thu Dec 09, 2010 12:24 pm

Hey all,

Relocating to Central Montana (Helena) soon, and I'm wondering if anyone knows of a good shop with experience working on MZ's. My understanding is that anyone decent mechanic will be able to figure them out - but it'd be nice to know that they maybe have some connections for parts, or general experience with the bikes.

Thanks
Matt

If Central Montana is anything like N. Alabama (and I suspect it is regarding MZs), the shop techs will scratch their butts and ask "WTF is that?" But good luck finding a knowledgeable MZ shop up there mate.

most bikers i meet dont have a clue what an mz is 2 stroke or 4 stroke
you may find a flat track racer that knows the rotax motor
but thats about as rare as finding a mz rider
