was browsing craigslist for bike stuff and came across this:

the guy has this extensive list of motorcycle merch and the 1st thing he's offering as a trade suggestion is an iPad

Hmmm,

This guy strikes me as less of a weekend warrior and maybe someone who fences on the CL. Where the hell does one get so many helmets to 'barely' use them and then get rid of them on CL?

you might be right. i didn't look at it in that way.

to me this this guy sounded like he got into riding as a spur of a moment, went for the typical bike brand to get, and shopped helmets like they were hats, by appearances.


though a riding buddy of mine buys all his bike stuff online, and would literally order 4 helms at a time, try them on and keep the one that fit best and return the rest.
when his last helmet was stolen he did it again, except with 3 helmets. he got caught up with contract projects and missed the return deadline. now he has 3 helmets

I just have 2. open face and a dirt one
