Trimming front fender - repercussions?

Postby MattyP » Thu Mar 24, 2011 10:08 am

Hey all,

The one thing I don’t like about the skorp is that front fender, I think its a pretty ugly thing. I’ve been thinking about taking the front half off. Just the front, I'll keep the rear half to sort of help keep the radiator clean. It seems like it'll be a right straight forward thing to do, but I’m wondering if there are any repercussions to doing so that I’m not seeing. I’m guessing that if I’m riding in the rain it may result in some extra water and maybe road schmutz being flung up, maybe into my face shield. I’m not seeing anything beyond that. Anything to say out there?

put a different fender on it and save the original
you may want it stock sometime in the future and the fender will be NLA
or they will be so proud of it you can not afford one ....

i have a 1953 BMW setting in the basement no rear fender because its about 900usd unpainted
