What’s it worth?

I bought an MZ about 4 years ago. A black 660 Baghira. It has 8,000 KM on the clock. I had an issue with the trans strait away and fixed it. However it was the only toy that has ever left me stranded somewhere. It has been a bone of contention between my wife and me. It has set ever since. I just want to unload it now, and I no longer know what it is worth. It currently needs tires and a battery. Will I get my $200 out of it if I buy the tires and battery?
Also I live in Michigan, and toys don’t bring crap here because everyone is out of work. Should I put it on eBay even thought I have no seller’s history?

Back when I first bought it I checked sales on eBay, they ranged from $2,500-$3,500 all with more miles than mine. I have not been checking regularly but I haven’t seen any sold in a while so I don’t have a clue on value. Depending on how much they are worth I will either drain all the fluids and mothball it for my son, or sell it and use the money for booze and hookers, or some other toy. just wondering if any have sold in the last 6 months.

Using the $$ for booze and hookers sounds like a good plan to me.


Seriously, I'd just get it starting/running with a new battery, don't bother with the tires if they're tolerable, clean it up, take some quality pics, and list it on Ebay. You get double the $$ if it's running. And it will reach everyone looking for a bike, not just MZ riders, so much bigger audience. It looks pretty good too and low miles. With a little luck you could even make some money over what you paid for it.
