Nice one!! 251 or 301? Remember decent 2T oil, correct plug (some like it hotter some not), timing if points and your cables are key. If the exhaust is old might be worth a replacement. And then don't be afraid to rev it hard up and down the throttle range to clean it out from time to time.

She's a '96 301 The exhaust is in a pretty good shape. Everything is working like charm! Just need some small replacements, a little maintenance, wax and a new paintjob(same colour, dont worry ). Luckily, my uncle grew up with MZ's and Jawa's. So i'm at good hands. Thanks for the advice though!
Nice, the 301 is a good bike, flowing the cases wouldn't go a miss though, seeing as the 301 is the 251 with a 301 top end, but not ported for it! Here's my dads 301 ETZ, it's a work in progress of ours, with a Saxon Tour tank
