Hello All,

Having had ETZs back in the dim and distant past I couldn’t pass by a cheap TS125 needing ‘slight’ restoration. I’ve gone thirds with my sons so they can experience the joy of ownership and master the art of pre-mixing! Does anyone know if the blue riders handbooks are still available?
And does anyone know the difference between the Sport, Alpinr and Lux versions?
Cheers
Richard

I have no personal experience with TS's, unfortunately so I cannot claim the differences.

I would however like to say 'Hi!', and wish you luck.

You will find a digitised copy of the service manual for the vehicle on my FTP website (signature), but not the riders manual.

Alpine was the basic model of the Ts 125-150-250. As plain as a Jane. The Luxus model ..... Had chrome plated fuel tank covers, a rev counter. Both the speedo and cable driven rev counter, where mounted on the top yolk, instead of mounted onto the headlamp shell. Some models dependant on year or market, had a rear side stand mounted on the backwheel axle and a front N/s alloy hub cover. The Sport was similar to the Luxus with yolk mounted instruments, but it had a larger capacity fuel tank (also fitted on the trail styled Pathfinder https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source= ... 0372222569 model, both modified by Wilf Green and Co in the UK) both models shared fibreglass side panels and rear tail piece and seat unit designed by Wilf. Everything else was as Mz industries built and exported them. I had Alpine Ts125 - 150 and Luxus 125 models
And still have my Ts 125 Luxus.

Hi and welcome to the clan. There's a Haynes Manual avail so why would you want a little handbook? I think that little TS is the cutest of all the MZs.
Hopefully that "bit of work" it needs isn't the ubiquitous knackered crank seals. That happened when I bought a barn find ETZ 250. Five hundred quid just on labour.
Thank goodness the parts are cheap!
Just remember to flip up the sidestand when you ride off. It's easy to forget, positioned as it is on the rear axle.
