Hi,
I think the two black wires will be your ground wires. The other two wires will be for the stop and tail lights.
First of all, if you've connected up the wires disconnect then again and check if the bike will start again.
If it doesn't start let us know.

David.

Correction:
I've just done a search on google and had a look at a wiring diagram used by MZ-B for their ignition conversions. The Brown wire is the ground wire. One of the black wires is for the brake switch. I'm not sure which wire is for the tail light and number plate lamp (if this is separate). Best to buy yourself a multimeter with a continuity tester built in (they all do) and trace where the wires actually connect to. I never rely completely on the colour codes of the wires, I always double check with the meter.
Always make sure the ignition/power is off before using the continuity/ohmeter or you may damage your meter.

Hello,

I found the TS 125/150 w1ring diagram in http://www.miraculis.de
http://www.infomate.de/miraculis/aw/mz/ ... haltts.gif

I can see:

-number 31 (Schlusslich) tail lamp bulb (braun, grau) brown and grey wires.

-number 22 (Lampe für Bremslich) stop lamp bulb (schwarz) blacks wires.

Sir, brown wires are ground and different for some old English motorcycles in your MZ ground is negative.
You remember in MZ TS battery red wire positive and brown wire negative

I also ride MZ to work.

Best Regards,
Manuel.

PD.: NO money back guaranty!!

rule 1 on German motor vehicles brown is 99.9% of the time GROUND

on the tail bulb some bikes use the charge lamp in the generator circuit if its bad does not charge ..not sure if old mz like that may be that if tail lamp bad it shuts down
also look for bad fuse you have not found yet
and as old as it is bad wires
