Luckily this is mainly applicable to the more modern cameras and smart phones.
My "old fashioned" camera doesn't store this kind of information . . . but surprisingly enough, it measures and stores the temperature when the picture was taken.

Turn the GPS mode off in your digital cameras. Toggle GPS off temporarily on your cellphone-camera when you take pics of your kids, bikes, home, etc.
