Hi, I have just got my MZ Skorpion Sport which was one of the Japanese imports registered in 2011. Here she is:


She's done 2430km and has a minor problem in that it won't tick over when the choke is off. Otherwise its in very nice condition overall. I am a Honda man through and through and have never had a big single, had twins , fours and sixes all Honda . I am looking forward to swapping wisdom on here with other Skorpion owners.

Re. idling, if it has been lying for a while then it would be worth stripping the carbs and cleaning out the cruddy fuel and cleaning/ultrasonically cleaning the carb passages

Hi dandy, I'm on one of the small ones next to Mull...yes, I've taken off the fuel tank and seat cowl in preparation of a carb clean, thought it was the slow passages too....
