1995 Saxon Tour 301/ 77 TS 250/1

Hi All,
I have had three goes at attaching some pics of the bikes, but just as I get to check if it's ok it says I have run out of time so I must start again. Anyway here goes. Two of the refurbs. I actually had some pics of the other Saxon 301 in boxes as before, and then later, after. If I get it sorted. As I pictured the TS I thought i'll give it a start, I havn't run it for a couple of months and there wasn't overmuch in the battery, little bit of choke ign on then a good kick, well,the blasted ratchet didn't engage an my left leg went wallop down to the bottom, not nice at all. It's an odd thing with the TS, she goes quite a while, ratchet no probs and then when your confidence is high, wallop, got you.

Just had a thought about the pics, see if this works. Ha Ha that sorted it. There is a 1994 Saxon Tour 301 in there somewhere. Incidently, I must mention that the idea to refurb the bikes is not to put them in show condition, but rather a good road going condition and I will try to do the same with the 301 in boxes and then sell it on, hopefully.

Good looking bikes, and a nice pile of bits! A true MZer
ES250 Doppelport, ES250, ES250/1, ES250/2,ETS 250, ES150, ETS150, BK350, IWL Pitty, SR56 Wiesel, SR59 Berlin, Troll............ and thats just the German two strokes!

Thanks for that. I started to sort out the boxes but as you might have read, I did my left leg in on the TS so it got me thinking and the long and short of it is, I saw a 1979 Honda CB400A that has not run for 17yrs on Ebay for £499 so, in for a penny etc. Mind you, the cost of the parts compared to Mz are pretty steep, especially as a fair amount has to come from the states, the 400A is of course a Hondamatic, so different from the TS and the Tour. Anyway it will be great to get her up and running from a neglected state. As soon as she is on the road I will get back to the boxes again. Wish you well.
