Circlips

Hi I've come across an internal circlip without the holes for the pliers. The bike is a1978 TS150 and the circlip is retaining the rear sprocket bearing. The circlip ends are not square with the inner circumference obviously longer than the outer one. I can spring one end with a screwdriver but can't get it out. Anyone any ideas? Thanks.

safety glasses and a couple ice picks and cuss a lot
fasten the whole thing down so it does not move
others near by need to leave the room or get hit by it when it comes out

As Dave says clamp the thing down, do you have a bench vice?
A second pair of hands would be useful, you need to lever one end out whist stopping it rotating in the groove by locating the other end.They can be on hand to get the plasters as well!
