Rear led issues

Hi all
Have a baghira 660

The tail is lEd

Brake light works but running light doesn’t
Under Seat 3 wire plug, disconnected and tried to swap wires areound etc
No joy so coneccted direct to battery and got brake light bright and running light dim so the unit is good
Clearly something along the line of wires at fault.

My question is can I direct feed the 3 wires from bike / battery etc the
Light unit so I essentially have running lights perm feed even when lights ain’t on and still get brake light function

are dash lamps the white ones for night working
and check the plug where the turn signals plug in
