Hey guys just wondering a couple of things. I have a 94 Saxon Tour with 2000 miles on it and its been in AC building for many years. I start it on a regular basis and it runs great. I do need a new windshield for it because my sister dropped a picture on it and it cracked. I need to know 1 if anybody knows where to get a new windscreen or am I just SOL. 2 If I sold this bike what is it worth? Thanks for any input.

I went down this road last summer. I bought my MZ with the original screen
missing. You can find them, but be forewarned, they'll cost you dear. If you
have the pieces of the original you could probably have some outfit on the
net custom make you one. I think they use the old broken pieces as a pattern.
But, again, its been my experience that the word "custom" commands a much
higher premium. Put the word out on the German MZ site. Never hurts.

As far as how much these bikes are worth? I always chuckle when someone
posts a question like this on an enthusiast website (be it Triumph, MZ, Moto
Guzzi, ect ect ect) The answer(s) you get will probably be on the high side of the
usual book value. Mine's worth about 15 grand.

Check the NADA on it. I think they are still listed.

I think the sale price on these over the last few years has ranged from $12-1300 to ~$2200. It will vary, and might take a while, you never know. I paid right at $2000 for each of mine and they were both pretty clean and low mileage at the time. Mine are Silver Stars.
