Silver Star clutch lever

Through my carelessness I have broken the clutch lever of my Silver Star this morning. So I am reduced to riding my Vespa to work. Can any of you tell me what "normal" motorcycle has the same lever, or where (prefereably in the USA) I can buy a replacement? My lever is black and is marked "Domino" on the lower surface. Or perhaps someone here has one for sale....

viewtopic.php?f=18&t=4260
mr bill orders from the factory they drop ship to you takes about 2 weeks

i am out of stock broke 2 in the last 2 months
the clutch and brake lever is common only to MZ

best on the clutch to mount the perch and lever from some other bike
put the compression release on some thing else
but do make it some thing common and write down what it is

your stuck with the brake side unless you do a master cylinder from a jap bike or early 80's bmw

Down near the bottom of the page:

Thank you Dave and Don. I tried calling Herdan and got no reply, called Bikeworx (where I've done business in the past) and they did not have the lever; they referred me to Graham's Motorcycles in UK. I then bought the lever using MZ Parts Miami's online store. I'll post a report once the item arrives.

Check out the following link http://www.domino-group.com as Domino are an Italian aftermarket parts supplier. They don't list anything for MZ so I suspect you have an universal lever and bracket.

The day after I ordered the lever from MZ Parts Miami I received an email from Disney Ferras asking me to clarify the order. When I told him the lever was for a Silver Star he suggested the one shown in these pictures which he emailed to me.

I explained that the lever appears to be correct, but that the perch, which I don't need, is different because of the decompressor. Disney agreed to sell me the lever without the perch for $25 including shipping. While this is more than the price on the website, it seems reasonable to me, and will get the bike back on the road again in a few days. I appreciate Disney's concern in getting me the correct part rather than simply sending the part I ordered, which might not have worked.

I always call Disney (or email) first explaining what I need just to let him know it's Silver Star specific. He was very helpful with by recent Silver Star cafe conversion, especially when I stupidly broke the Rotax engine clutch cover. :smt013 Glad it worked out for you. I pretty sure the ETZ lever would have worked for you though. :-D
