hello

dont buy cheap tires they make you fall down

and if you like to ride fast or do big air with the front wheel

make the helmet a full coverage one.... doctors that put your
face back together are not cheap plus it improves your chance
to get up and ride it home
ar dave :-D

ps dont forget the leather gloves

how do you like the XD? I heard at high speeds your head gets "whipped" around by the visor unless it is in the EXACT right position?

anything above 75 or so, and youre having to work hard to keep your head still, the small cowl on the baggy helps, but not much. I usually stick to around 70 or so (keeps my license intact) unless I'm on one of the local atlanta freeways, where you just have to grit your teeth and ride like an extra from MAD MAX.
I'd deff put a tallish screen on there if I was gonna tour with the XD. Other than that I absolutely love the helmet...typical arai quality and comfort, and the MX style visor is great on sunny days.
