Yesterday I went riding on some rough stuff, mostly pavement and some dirt and my bike was turning off and on at some points. I realized it was the kickstand switch and i was able to zip tie the switch closed and continue riding. BTW when going down a muddy rutted dirt hill with Michelin Pilots if your bike shuts off it gets hairy almost as hairy as when you drop it down two gears and slide the thing and back it into a corner catch traction accelerate and it shuts of again while leaning over.
Today I pulled my bike out of the garage and realized it it a bit lower on the sidestand then usual. I looked down and so one of the bolts holding the kickstand had fallen out. It would have sucked if it swung down and dug into the pavement and launched me into the atmosphere because of a highside.
I will check the bolts more often.

I had the same trouble with mine yesterday - but in my case, I'm not used to the big-assed MX boots that I bought and i can't tell what my feet are resting on because I'm not used to wearing concrete golashes...
...I'm going to fab up a heel-guard thingie to keep my heel from pushing on the thing while riding because I like the idea of leaving the switch operating because I have tried to ride off with the kickstand down before...
...oh, and PS - I fab'd up an aluminum luggage-rack for my baghira too... I've still gotta get the pieces welded together and I think I'm gonna powder-coat it (or maybe polish it) and then I'll post some photos...

first time I landed from a jump hard the bike shut off, I thought I broke something because I cased it.
