It has been a while,

I have been away from the board for a while. I sold my 04 BP to Randew2U and I guess he liked my black panther picture for his messages too, because he also took that. It has probably already been talked about but can someone fill me in. I just checked the Motoradna site and found a $2000 cheaper MSRP for the Panther. Used to be $7995, now $5995. No complaining here but, what is happening. Have there been any improvements to the old powerplant to go with the new price. I also just found that Suzuki is making a stock moto DRZ400SM. Nice looking ride also but, for $6095 (but it does come in a cool looking black).
-8-, Keith, Gedge, Brian, Bebe and all you pioneers, fill me in.

changes last spring at mzna
President for Mz of North America is John Staddart . He is the former North American President of Moto Guzzi and he is planning on Big and better things for Mz North America

i think he is using it as a get buyers bike but the price needs
to be right to compete with the jap bikes and ktm
but not so cheap that mz or dealers dont make any mark up

also i have noticed a much faster turn around on parts for my RT125

I too noticed the price change on the MZ website. And I thought I got a deal at $7k otd for a new 03! Last I heard they weren't importing new models to the states because the euro to dollar ratio would mean too high a price to compete, so I was very surprised.

hi
if the high dollar to euro rate continues we will probely
get mz models in the usa that have been assemblyed in Malaysia

just hope they keep a good handle on the build quality

MZ Motorrad Sdn Bhd (MZM) was set up in Year 2002 to assemble and distribute MZ bikes in Malaysia. It is a 100% subsidiary of HLI.

hli ownes mz in germany
http://www.hli.com.my/Corp_Info/Motorcy ... torrad.asp
so the next time you buy a new mz be sure to read the lable
on the frame for where it was assembled
