Have you spoken to ohlins or penske about the suspension ...When I asked them if they had anything that would fit they said NO!
My bike is currently at Eastcoastatv.com with a blank check and a punch list so i am very interested in what you are doing

just buy a complete ohlins kit on e-bay for a Cannondale, they will fit in CR clamps, the only thing that will be cutom made is the steering stem. all the other parts are available, hub, brakes ect.. that is what I would do if I had the funds.. those forks can be had cheap!!!

yes, you just might have to have them lowered. any suspension tech can do it for $150. or so.
or you could raise the rear to match. your choice.
