SX125 - The hard starting battery killer

Postby bajasr100 » Tue Jun 03, 2008 7:30 pm

My apologies if this has been covered before...

I have an 94 MZ125SX that is very hard to start and kills the battery when trying to start it for an extended period of time. Starter has checked out fine. Any tips or suggestions?

Thanks in advance for the help.

is this a 2 cycle or 4 cycle bike all the sx models i know of were made after 2002 and 4 cycle
dave

if its a 4 cycle bike ... make sure the throttle cable is not to tight and has the slide lifted
as the 4 cycle 125,s do not like any throttle at start ....
also fuel to air mix at 2 turns out check also float level ....
