The wheels will NOT interchange. The calipers are on opposite sides; the rear brake disc is 1/4 inch different in it's distance from the swing arm. The sprocket on an RT is a convex, the SM and SX are flat. All the spacers are different and the speedo drive is also on the opposite side. I have wanted spoke wheels on on of my RT's for the lightness, but have not attempted a conversion, lost some pounds by dieting, instead.

A german company has done this. Not sure whats all involved. You dont need to change the forks, but all the other stuff that the previous poster stated. It might cost more than you paid for your bike. Would still be far cheaper than most bikes though.
That is the coolest RT I've seen. I would love to ride that. Check out the bodywork, fender, exhaust, wheels, etc
