ETZ 125 Frame Number

Hi all,
recently purchased said model without a log book or form, been off the road for 10 years. Does anyone know where the VIN number is located? The only codes I've found are two 10-digit codes begining YID, and 7 digit code.

The frame number is stamped into the headstock on an ETZ125, and should also be on an aluminium plate riveted to the headstock.

You'll find no VIN in the format that you'd find on a newer vehicle because there isn't one.

thanks i've found it now, it was in vin format aswell.

where was it located so others looking can find it
and what year
numbers seem to be in different places.. on different years and models
i saw a 2 smoker at vintage days in ohio usa one year
and it was on a tab on the frame at the rear below where your back pocket would be when seated
never did figure out what year it was
