Got shim spec??

Postby jbthumper » Tue Sep 20, 2005 11:55 am

Guys,

does anyone know the shims' diameter for the 125???
what are the tolerable clearance for each valve??

side track...
also...anyone got any radical ideas for swapping the shims-over-bucket system with shims-under-bucket system??

thanks.
Cheers.

I think the shims are 7.5mm

Also, not sure why you would want to change to a shim-under-bucket system. The current design provides easy valve adjustments without having to dismantle the cams.
Relax. You'll live longer.
