Some clown has stolen my bike!!!

Postby herbalist » Fri Jul 14, 2006 8:45 am

I am no longer an owner of an MZ....

As I write this I am holding back the tears,

Yesterday I woke up at 6:30am as I had my driving test early and needed to go meet my instructor, as I left my flat I saw that my bike (an '05 silver SM125) had been lifted during the night.

I cant tell you the things that went through my mind before it finally sunk in that it was gone. My brain was telling I'd parked it somewhere else, one of mates had moved it for a laugh,, ect anything but the brutal fact that some clown had nicked it.
I cant believe I still went and took my driving test and passed..... with only 4 minors.....

If I had failed I think I would be thinking about slashing my wrists by now.

The bike is insured, and providing the company pay out, I intend to replace the bike but it seems you can no longer get this bike imported into the UK.
The shop where I brought the bike has since closed down.
And there is only one other MZ dealer in London and they only service the old MZ's and can not import the SM or RT.

To say I am gutted would be an understatement....

Sorry for this bloggish thread but I had to share my saddness with people that understand what its like to be a proud owner of an SM or RT.

.....anyone who thinks they know where I can source a replacment from in the UK please, please get in touch.

Hi,
Sorry to hear about the bike being stolen.
Jack Nice motorcycles in London still sell MZ RT125's as I have just bought one off them
about 6 weeks ago. They no longer have a showroom and now do all their business via their website and email.
Try them out, they are very helpfull.

Regards

David.

Im so sorry to hear that!! i hope the person steal your bike hits by a cow and fell into cow's dung :P Well i dont know that it's preety hard to find a MZ in London, currently i know that MZ company is being take over by Hong Leong Group Malaysia. In malaysia MZ125SM/SX bike sales is still very very slow compare to others bikes here! I dont know weather MZ Malaysia do export the bike to London or not? there is at least 250 units MZ125SM/SX bikes in Malaysia Glenmarie Park Store which has not being sold yet!! Maybe i should help u to ask them weather they do they ship/export it out?

Will let you know as soon as possible!
