i used the local bike 175cc piston... and rebore using hardened steel liner which pin end piston also need to be mod....

i also did smoke post and polish for intake and exhaust... tommorow im going to replace my carb. I havent decided what type of carb to change so i will try a few type of carbs and see which is the best.

MZ had a bug in the ignition... try to replace the ignition relay which is beside the CDI (white colour relay which had 5 pins) you can replace it to a normal automobile relay which you only use 4 pin.

2 pin for the relay coil and 2 pin for NO (normally open).

it improves the idling because the original relay had some current restriction in it which that 12v in but 5 - 8v out only and sometimes 3v only, then it will make some misfiring during idling.

MXsteven

ps: later i will take some technical picture and post it in

on my rt125 wire drawing relay 19 supples power to cdi
and is wired to sidestand safety switch
if it goes bad it can cause several problems
on bikes with a tachometer bad tachometer readings
poor bike running
bike will not run at all
same problems as steven noted above
use search for relay 19
on my bike it was very small and contacts were burn up

Hi jeremy

Have u use any aftermarket exhaust,...if not,try one...definately will help ur bike move better, but speed wise wil b similar.
Try remove d snorkle under d seat(air-box),it help the bike breath better...change to aftermarket exhaust like AHM,Hurricane or else....

Carb,....pls don't change it cos it only help u 2pick better,but not d speed....means waste fuel....

Hope this wil assist...

in KL..I have some crazy friends changing their 125SM/SX stock engine to a modded 150cc 2 stroke or a 4 stroke engine from other manufacturers like kawasaki, honda etc...the result...the bike capable to run at 100mph = 160 kph or crusing on a sustaining speed up to 170kph.. that would make it run as fast as a BWM 660 SM..the cost is damn cheap as low as RM1800.00 = USD 514.00...(anyone live in KL/Klang Valley area could refer ur bike to Usop's Scrambler Workshop (just a small DIY workshop)...located just beside the MRR2 hiway near Taman Melati) :smt006

kim, can you picture how've you made your costum canister?

Dear Igor

Those canister were sent to exhaust shop for customade.....reason being they tailormade your exhaust according to the shape & sizes you want & at the same time, they know what is best for your bike,....if you get an aftermarket canister that has been made to cater for all the 125cc,i will be saying there are differs in every 125cc engine.....even they engine configuration were also differs.

if u wanna the step by step photo,..i won't be able to do that...cos i don't fabricate those canister myself.
