mz sm125 exhaust

any1 know where i can get an aftermarket exhaust to fit my sm, ive seen bikes on the internet with them on, just dont where to get 1 from???
also, can an aftermarket induction airfilter be fitted???

hi there... last time i used to have 2-3 types of exhaust ... but the exhaust will only help our bike to add a little bit of power (wrong installation & wrong setting can cause the bike running slower /worst !) here's some pics for ur reff :

however im not so sure where u can order this exhaust from ur country or by the internet.. I think in the europe u could replace the stock exhaust with Sebring (same looks like my AHM)

I have been unable to find a manufacturer for the 125. Discontinued by ones that did. I made an exhaust with less back- pressure, upped the main jet to a 110(stock is 100)dropped back to 105 and then to stock. (carbon deposits at tip with bigger than stock) wot plug checks were inconclusive. had to purchase a thermal heat sensor to find that the exhaust temperature of the pipe exiting the head was the same using stock or modified muffler. I did not notice any improvement in performance, and the noise was not stealthy. my sm will run an indicated 80mph level. my rt is a little slower.--Steve

my test to make my rt go faster were not any improvement
the airfilter is same as used on my 660 traveller so it will flow 3 times the air
and i fitted a 52 tooth rear sprocket as its very hilly where i live
mine does 65 flat out and thats the speed limit on all roads but 1 in my area
i have 2 larger bikes and still like the rt125 best

the 660 always seems to have water in its gas to the point its a pain in the ass to ride
and i cover the tank when its raining so its not leaking around the cap
big fuel filter is next on all 3 bikes

hey dave. this might be nothing, but i read a lot of reports by malaysian riders of water getting into the carb very easily by the way of the clutch cable, level for which is not well protected from rain or wash. if the fuel cap is covered and there is no way for water to get into the tank then maybe the water is getting into the carb this way?

mine seem to make water even in the covered parking area
but we have humid weather here some times as bad as monsoon in India
we do not need a swimming pool just do the back stroke through the yard

and its the 660 traveller that's doing it

the rt 125 i just open the carb drain about every 3 days and it seems to do ok
but the gas we have been getting here has been crap for about the last 3 years
