Fuel leaking

Hey Guys,
I have a problem with my RT 125.
When I finish riding I park my bike up, and if I don't switch the fuel tap into an off position, then petrol leaks out of the bike.
I've traced where the petrol is coming from and it's coming from a plastic, what I would call "overflow" pipe which is attached to what I think is the Carb (it's a component just before the engine under the saddle) - does this mean that I need to drain or clean the Carb out?
Thanks,
Ben

Thanks Dave,
Unfortunately, I'm not skilled enough to clean out the whole fuel system, so I will probably pay a garage to do it. In the meantime, do you think that I will be able to just drain the Carb to get over this initial problem? (looking at your draining Carb instructions it looks pretty easy)

drain the dirt and water out and hope that gets it .....
guess i was lucky
i grew up in a family of fix it guys
house building and machine shop folks
but jacks of all trades
my dad and his brother moved a 2 story brick house 2 blocks
and set it on a new foundation in 40 days
just the 2 of them ....
i had good teachers when i grew up
dave
ps they had me disconnect all the wires for the move...
and i was the electric tools repair man for the whole family
i was about 12 years old at the time

Where are you located? If you're near me, I can loan you my old VM24 carb to see what's going on with yours.

I'm in somerset, UK. So a bit too far away to make the most of your generous offer
Well, I've drained the Carb and it ain't happened since.
Dave - you are great at picture instructions and such like. Have you got any picture instructions of how to clean the Carb? Or just instructions will do.
cheers,
ben
