STARTER REPAIR PDF FOR SPRAG CLUTCH REPLACE
FINALY GOT THIS DONE
HOPE IT HELPS GUYS

THIS IS MY THOUGHT ON THE 125 CC BIKES

I HAVE BEEN RIDING OVER 50 YEARS THIS IS ONE OF THE NICEST BIKES I HAVE EVER OWNED
95% OF THE TIME IT DOES EVERYTHING I NEED TO DO WITH A BIKE
YES IT HAS SOME SHORT FALLS
1 2 UP RIDING IS A PAIN
2 NOT REALLY FAST FOR A LONG DAY TRIP A 250 MILE DAY TRIP IS A CHORE BUT 1 UP
AND GET THE GEAR LOAD LIGHT AND IT CAN BE DONE
3 THE WIRING WAS BUILT WAY TOO CHEAP

IF YOU HAVE ONE ..KEEP IT BECAUSE NO FACTORY WILL PROBABLY BUILD ANY THING SIMILAR ANYTIME SOON

MINE IS AT 20,000 MILES AND DOING GOOD ONLY SPRAG IN THE MOTOR AND A NEW CLUTCH THIS WEEK
ELECTRICAL THE STARTER RELAY THE CUT OUT RELAY 19 AND A VOLTAGE/REG AT ALMOST NEW
ALL BULBS ARE ORIGINAL
HAVE FUN
DAVE

IF THE FACTORY BUILDS A NEW ONE I WANT A 450CC

and added note
if you make a side cover gasket in place of an oem one
make sure you use paper that is close to the original paper thickness
as thicker paper can effect the working of the spring and check ball
held in by the side case... this may effect oil pressure
in a high mileage bike or when these start to reach 15 to 20 years old
replacing that oil spring may be a good idea if there still available

HI DAVE,
what thickness do you think the gasket paper should be?
my guess was about 0.8mm

I tried making a gasket. Toothick and the gear selector doesnt work. Oil pressure light stays on.
Not worth the hassle buy a new one, saves you stripping the engine to replace with the proper item

it will stay on if oil is too thin or not been changed in a long time
IF riding it at high speed for 500 miles do change the oil
every time i run it to rally in pa and back about 500 miles round trip
the light comes on till i replace the oil
