The airbox and exhaust look very restrictive on these bikes, is this for a purpose such as keeping the power down for license restrictions in the uk(maybe worldwide)
what have people done to allow the engine breathe better? im thinking, do away with air box and put a cone filter straight to the carb air intake, and exploring exhaust options, are there restriction plates in the silencer?

this motor is tuned max
any mods will make it less dependable
and worse gas miles
there are mods for it but expensive
intake mods for me did not improve any thing
but did destroy the gas mileage

16X 52 chain sprockets help if you live in a hilly area
but top speed is then 69mph at redline

mine does about 55 to 65mpg (us/gallon) at the mileage it has
and if the roads are posted 55mph or less it will do ok
higher speeds may cause you problems keeping up
with all the people that leave late then speed to get there
