There will be a split link. Have a good look under the grot and you'll find it.

Once you have split it don't pull it out of the rear chaincase / rubber tubes If you are replacing the chain, join the new one to the old one, and use it to pull the new one through. Otherwise just tie the ends of the chain together.

i will be doing it the hard way
my bottom rubber needs replaced and its a rotax 500 95 saxon tour
have to use the 301 rubber and a smaller chain
i think the rubbers fit but need a chain that is narrow
and at about 21,000 km and 18 years its time to get the mess cleaned up
bike looks new but lot of little stuff needs done
it has set since dec 2007 when i had a wreck on it
was trying to get it running this summer but just did not get it done
want it right .. i have 3 bmw bike and the traveller to do and
a bunch of ham radio gear to hook up as i have moved back into the home place
and most of it is stacked in the back room :-D

I found the split link on my ETZ125 on the inside! Took me an age, inspecting every single greasy link until I found it. You can imagine how clean my hands were. :)
