Pre 1992 rear mudguard on a 1994 MZ ETZ 125

The 1994 mudguard is ridiculously square so I chopped it down but now it looks a bit bare (The seat has also been chopped)
Would a pre 1992 mudguard fit a 1994 as the electrics also attach to it?
