there is a small rubber grommet at the bottom of the choke does it seat into the choke plunger or mearly sit at the bottom

It should be seated in the plunger

so far found an old spiders nest in bottom with plunger tons of bugs! Looks like some water got to sit in there with some dirt and crap too and the float sounded like a maraca! Well after 40 minutes in some lime away and some jb weld we'll have her going strong in no time! Going to replace air filter with 2 used laundry sheet. Did a intake ratio test and the draw was the same.
