ImageVehicle Description

1974 COTA 247 T. VERY RARE TRAIL (NOT TRIAL) MODEL IN EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION WITH MATCHING NUMBERS. The "T" model was for trail riding and was much the same as the standard 247 COTA except for the passenger seat and pegs. This unrestored original shows only 348 miles on the odometer. This bike was recently serviced in Denver and is ready to go. Starts, runs and rides great. This is a must for the vintage dirt bike collector. the NADA shows this model in excellent condition as valued at $6200 given its rarity. See the NADA value chart

Yes, exceptional condition

I can´t see the rear lamp, perhaps no mount in USA models :?: and the tank pipe.

Iceman,
spanish is the fashion in classic motorcycles in Spain. A few years ago this motorcycles was in garages under 10 centimeters of dust. People for bussines come back motorcycles again from USA( strong euro -Montesa 349 1000$ "only" aprox. 640 € :!: - and high sales prices here). Spanish factories selled great quantity of all production in USA. In the 70s exports to USA fell (gas crisis?, obsolete product? :?: ) and it was the end for many factories.
I like the old models names: Lobito (wolverine), Metralla (grapeshot), Tralla (Whip-lash), Matador (killer), Frontera (Borderline)...good sound in spanish language... perhaps lost in traslation.
Photo link isn´t no mine, I wanted compared two, here and there models.Pipe is for vent fuel tank. Sorry my bad english.
I am not a spanish motorcycle expert ( really I am not expert in nothing). If you want a good second opinion my friend Goyo can help us. He ride long time a Montesa Impala (like a USA car) and classic races with Bultaco TSS replica and OSSA Copa.

John, un afectuoso saludo,
Manuel

I like to look at the old models, reminds me when i was a kid.
