Is there any trick to removing the rear wheel on a Country 500 (probably same for saxon tour). Does the odometer cable just unscrew from the rear sprocket/chain guard? Also, the axle seems a bit funny......each side has a nut that turns independently of each other.....the manual i have says something about taking off the nuts and then pushing the bolts in or something but i'm not sure i understand......it's different than say a a dirt bike axle which is just one long bolt with one nut on one end.....any pointers on this?

bolt is on left side hold nut on right do not turn nut on right
remove bolt on left wheel will come off
the brake rod needs the nut off of it a spacer comes out and wheel and the brake shoe housing come off together
there is also a bar bolted to brake housing
the other nut removes the other side and adjusts the chain it also holds sprocket carrier and the speedo drive
is not to be removed unless you need to a full clean and service
best to down load pictures to view in a picture viewer or print
