Rubber tubes in the barrell and head

Postby cameronda » Sun Jul 19, 2015 5:16 am

G'day
I am replacing the rubber tubes that go in the cylinder and cylinder head
The instructions are all in German
Basically I wet the tubes and then insert and trim

Am I correct?
Thanks in advance
Dave

That looks like it... wet them, make sure the slot is at the back and tap with a rubber mallet , then if needed trim to leave 5mm extra

G'day
How wet do they have to get?
Can you wet them in place?
How fast do you need to be installing them?
The head I think I will wet them in the head then fit head to bike.
The cylinder in on the engine and the engine is in the frame
