Hello,

at first I would like to apologize for topic, which is probably already here, or parts of this theme are spread on whole forum. I want to have all information in one topic.

Since MZ ETZ is my heart thing from childhood, I decided to restore one 251. For start, I have a few questions in which im interested.

How about exhaut? I read that second manufactured exuast is bad and motorcycle has less power.

From where I should buy engine parts ?

Most of parts I want to put in comaxit color (side covers od engine, stand, forks etc.). Chromed thing I want to put in new chrome.

I want to change bearings o rear suspension arm (from where parts ?)

Soon I will add some photos of stock motorcycle and I will add photos during renstoration.

Thanks for help and advices!

Hello

Many of the cheap exhaust reproductions are not good.
For a 2-stroke iengine it is very important that the exhaust is constructed very well.
MZ did a good job at that.
We reproduced an exhaust for ETZ 250 exactly 100% like the original.
And a collegue did the same for ETZ 251.
But they are not as cheap as the cheap ones :-)

Price is 159 Euro in germany.
