name is glen and i have a 71 es250/2 i brang back from germany. shes called marlene and is a bitsa in the nicest way.
quick breakdown: es frame, forks, pressed steel, seat, electrics, head, front
wheel.
ts/1 5 speed crankcase and internals, tach and speedo
etz251 rear 16 inch wheel and drive(chainwheel, hub,
speedo drive.
these were all selected on purpose to give newer wine in an old bottle. the looks of an ES with the convenience of an extra ratio.
if i can work out this url thingy i'll post a few shots of the big girl in the classics section. hope to help out, and pick a few brains while i'm here. thanks.
