just getting my two cents in:

Living as I do in Germany and having lived here for the last 42 years, I would be very sceptical of such bad English for someone purporting to be a german. Mind you, I don't expect college level English from anyone; there are enuf examples of native speakers confusing there and their and worse offenses to be found right here in this forum. Rcently the Dutch forum was completely spammed with porn and had to be temporarily shut down. In this light, caution is more than due when such a combination of questionable username and rediculously bad English is found in combination. When I write in a German or French forum, I try to get it at least understandable if not correct. Or I write in English under the tacet assumption that it is understood. In the Dutch forum, it is taken in stride and answered in English, usually very good English.

As admin, I would have declined as well, based on the user name alone.

I personally think - is that my age? - that such user pseudonyms are more than childish, and have no place in a forum where supposed grown-ups discuss supposedly serious topics. Or tell jokes. People who don't use their own name or the nickname they go by have something to hide in my opinion.

like I said, my 2 cents.

let me add, that the German written by some Germans in the German fora (correct plural of forum) is on a parr with the English at the top of this topic. It seems to be some kind of age bracket thing and some 16-25 year olds seem to find it cool to write unintelligible rap-style language purposely improperly spelled. And I am not talking about typos or achronyms such as ASAIK or FWIW. Or about typical Americanisms like nite or thru, or cause, or xmas.

hope site admin can edit out the trash some time in the future

and my open posted email address gets about 100 to 150 pieces of junk
a day thank god the spam filters dump most of it so i do not have too

nobody caught the improper speeling of acronym - or at least wanted to jump on me for it....

I get a lot spam, too. Most gets filtered out before I even see it, so I don't really have a count on it.
I, too, noticed the large number of obviously phoney users in the list of this forum, but, unlike the Dutch forum, it has not had any consequences yet.
At the Dutch forum, every rubric was receiving several porn messages every day. It was not possible or at least usless to try to use the forum normally because one was forced to delete each and every spam individually every day to find any possibly useful information. AS I said, the admin was forced to shut down for a week and manually go thru everything.

The German Skorpion forum is completely open.

There is absolutely no porn or spam at that forum.
