Sayyy...Dave, did you experience any buldging or uneven wear on the Kendas'? i mean like how the stock front tire(Wings) does half way through it's life...

the thing is, stock tires makes the bike vibrate and it's hard to handle straights at high speeds...not to mention twisties.

The fun of using MZ125SM is that u can get away in the traffic (provided your bike is manage to slot in those narrow lanes),

oh, my eyes! I just read the whole 30 pages of this page.

hi everyone, i'm pojam currently residing in mutiara damansara, and boy am i glad to found this forum out.
i am currently riding a moskito 125, and thinking of getting 125sm for a change.

i have read numerous reviews of this 125 and most of it is positive yet the only thing that worries me is that the 125SM/SX have no kickstarter! man, what am i going to do if the battery died on me (after 1/2 years-you never know)? sorry if i'm being a newbie here because i am.

i absolutely admire janraafi and mxsteven's 125, that is some beautiful mod right there. steven, i did not know you can hook up a RSM on a bike! :D how do you keep it safe though?

i am considering applying for AEON credit service to finance a 125SM. I plan to buy a new one since you never know what a used 125 SM been through before.

also guys, what is the longest distance you ever ridden this bike and how well is the seat (and your back!) along the trip.

hopefully I can join you guys in future TT sessions, until then, ride safe!

hi pojam,
I'm a newbies too. Well i just bought a new mz 125 sx last month. well i wont consider it new anyway since it was built in 2002, and left idle in that bike shop coz people are afraid to buy it. built in 2002, registered in 2008. 6 long years it has been. Well like you at first, i did my research first and then decide to buy the bike. It was so difficult to find the bike at first. I did call the manufacturer and 4 's center in shah alam to ask. oh boy, how devastated i felt when they told me that they had stop the production for this bike. and they in the process of clearing up all the left over stock of any 125. and it couldn't get any worse, they have sold all their remaining stocks. So pojam, if you want a brand new sm/sx, well you have to work harder since they have ran out. i did stumble upon my bike by chances. the last remaining unregistered sm/sx out here. by the way, I'm in sabah.

hi dell dimension bro (what's your name btw?) I just put a deposit on the 125 SM just now, and the bike shall come out pending approval from AEON credit services. I bought from my trusty workshop/bike store in subang jaya. Downpayment was RM 2120 ($660) and RM 260 ($80) installment for 24 months.

First thing I'm going to do when i get the bike is to change the fuel cap.

Bro did you run-in your 125SM?

Run in... still doing rite now. done 600+ km already.I only went as far as 90 kmh for the time being. by the way mine is sx model converted to sm. Lucky you then if you can get a brand new mz that easy. i wish i could do the same. Thats what the mz in shah alam told me. sigh. well i enjoyed every moment on that bike. Difficult to get parts here in sabah. the agent here only supply basic parts such as oil filter and and filter. Other than that, need to be ordered from kl. Fuel cap ? is there a lockable fuel caps out there? if you know where to get one, do tell me k. you can call me bob.

i did my calc. you only pay 8 k++ for that bike rite. quite cheap i might say. mine was 9K++. bummer. anyhow, i never regrets for paying every single cent for that bike.

well next on my list is to get skid plate plus hand guard, if only i can find it here.. i hope... Cheers to you bro for choosing a fine, mean machine.
