This is one of the best modifications you can do for your Skorpion. Throttle response is greatly improved, it will wind up much quicker and smack against the rev limiter faster. I had these carbs on my Skorpion for about 10k (miles) then on my Baghira for about 20k. I strongly recommend that you do not try to use these on a Baghira, there is insufficient clearance (even after creating additional clearance by pressing a flat spot in the exhaust pipe) between the exhaust header and the right float/ accelerator pump. I just replaced the float bowl and accelerator pump because of this, and they are expensive and hard to find. The carbs fit the Skorpion much better. To install them, you need to slightly elongate the mounting holes in the manifolds because the bore center to center measurement is a couple of millimeters different the stock carbs. This is easily accomplished in a couple of minutes with a 6mm rattail file. The hole in the airbox for the left carb to airbox rubber bootie needs to be enlarged so that you can run a right side bootie (included in the sale) on both carbs. I accomplished this with a dremel tool with a barrel sander bit. You will be unable to run the throttle return cable but the pull cable fits up easy (and that’s the only one I ever needed <g>). I can’t remember the details on the emission hoses, but basically you remove everything and plug anything that needs to be plugged. Be aware that removing the throttle return cable and emmissions stuff MIGHT cause you problems if you have vehicle inspection where you live.
