Taken out by F-150

Postby DAVID THOMPSON » Fri Dec 07, 2007 11:59 am

Hi All,
This is a friend of David. You can't miss them all. Dave was put in the hospital by a teen driving an Ford F-150. The truck was so big that David did not hit the windshield, just the hood. He is doing OK but lost his spleen. He said the bike to most of the impact and held up rather well. He said he would be back posting in a few days and he will have a lot of time to spend as he recovers. Jerry Wharton

Bad news fella. Being hit by an F-150 and still being here to tell the tale must mean he's a pretty gnarly bloke !!

Please pass on my best wishes and I hope he has a speedy recovery.

Cheers

Yeah and then if you listen real close you may hear old Nozz thinking about calling in AR DAve for advice on the Rotax! By the way Dave, I just pulled the bad motor out to rebuild. Gonna try to get a little more umpph out of it if it's not trashed too bad..

Have a good Christmas and good luck getting back on your feet. Godspeed!

I am glad you are getting better. Hope the recovery is short and the memory, distant. My dad worked with teletype in the U S air force. Mainly stationed in england but alot of other places aswell. Dont hear the lingo often, anyhow i am glad you are on the mend.
