Any idea how often you should change the oil on an MZ RT125?

Often as you like; it aint gonna hurt it any!
Realistically it actually depends on how you ride, your environment and how many miles you do.
I rev mine quite hard as I'm 6'5" and weight 15 ST so I have to to get the thing to move, I do a daily commute of 20Kms and my enviroment is fairly clean and I still change the oil every 1500Kms or so or 2 to 4 times a year. Changing the oil is easy (just make sure you've warmed the engine) and when you pull the plug you can remove those bits of metal stuck to the magnet! Changing the filter is it bit more of a faff and your going to make a bit of a mess but don't forget an engine runs on a bed of oil so if you want it to last change at least twice a year I'd say.

Every 1500km's?
I change filter and oil every 6000km, I use Motul 5100 15W50 and it's great.

6000Km, I'm not sure what is quoted in the manual but even at 1500Km my oil comes out black and full of nasty combustants.
If you want your engine to last for ever, frequent oil changes and let the engine warm up before you screw the knackers off it!
Well it's only a 125!
You'll see the Off Road crowd changing there oil after every ride!
Oil = Cheap
Engine = Expensive!

Well, manual says, that service interval is 6000km. Oil change on 1500km is way too soon...
Offroad is something else. They push their motorcycles to highest RPM possible for whole race, and their motorcycles can achieve higher RPM than MZ.

When you take you oil out at 6000Km's does it look like Sh*te? Is it full of Cr*p?

If you take 10 years to do 6000Km are you saying change the oil every 10 years?
Lets change it twice a year shall we!

OK, that's true.
But I've done 6000km from 8.8.2007 to 1.11.2007, so if I'd change my oil on 1500km, I'd change it 4 times in 3 months... And that is a waste of money and time.
P.S.: Oil should look sh*tty. If it wouldn't, there would be no effect from oil...
